Therapist Bio

I am a Masters-level counselor-in-training through Northwestern University. I seek to create a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts, fears, and goals. I treat everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion and believe it is essential to build a relationship founded on mutual trust. I have a particular interest in perinatal concerns including postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety, as well as working with new parents.

I work with clients to process their fears, stressors, anxieties, and traumas. I use mindfulness in my practice and help clients build coping skills. I take an integrated approach, focusing on the needs of each client, rather than taking a cookie-cutter approach.

I treat every client with respect and empathy. I want each of my clients to feel heard and understood. I aim to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves. I believe counseling is a collaborative process and work with each client to develop a treatment plan.

Specialties include: perinatal counseling, parenthood, life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship issues.
